Donors Awarded Lift Tickets At Channel 8 Blood Drive

First 100 donors awarded a Bear Mountain Resorts Lift Ticket, plus Pat & Oscar’s Meal Cards, Salads and Breadsticks!

KFMB News 8 is asking the community to kick off 2008 by donating at its “Give Blood…Give Life” Drive on Thursday, January 17, from 12 noon to 6:30pm, in the Kearny Mesa Wal-Mart parking lot off of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Shawline Drive.

The first 100 donors will be awarded a Bear Mountain Resort lift ticket, good for skiing or snowboarding, Monday through Friday, except for holidays.  All donors will be treated to a Pat & Oscar’s Meal Card and fresh, hot breadsticks and salad for their lifesaving donation.

"We are delighted that KFMB is reteaming with us for the New Year," said San Diego Blood Bank spokesperson, Lynn Stedd.  "Channel 8 is a respected leader in our community and we hope their viewers will realize the difference they can make by donating blood at their drive."
