Help Kick Off Summer at the NBC 7/39 "Summer Olympics" Blood Drive Friday, June 20, at the NBC Studios Downtown

Donors awarded a Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Pin and a chance to win concert tickets.                        

NBC 7/39 and the San Diego Blood Bank are teaming up to make a difference in life this summer at the NBC 7/39 Summer Olympics Blood Drive, Friday, June 20, in the plaza behind the NBC 7/39 Studios at 225 Broadway from 8:30 am to 7 pm.

All donors will be awarded a commemorative Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Pin and the chance to win tickets to two summer Qualcomm Concerts on the Green (Stone Temple Pilots, and Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom Huck Jam).  Donors will also enjoy delicious pizza, salad and breadsticks, compliments of Pat & Oscar’s.

In addition, blood donors will have the opportunity to join the San Diego Blood Bank’s Donor Difference program, which includes access to an online store and the ability to track cholesterol, pulse, and blood pressure after each donation.
