JOSH LEWIN, ‘THE RADIO VOICE OF THE CHARGERS,’ PERFORMS WITH HIS BAND AT CHARGERS BLOOD DRIVE 30, ALONG WITH ‘TIME OUT’ THE CHARGERS BANDPosted: November 07, 2008Josh Lewin, the popular “play by play” voice of the Chargers on Rock 105.3, will show fans his more musical side when he performs at Chargers Blood Drive 30 on Tuesday, November 25. “JOSH LEWIN and his Texas buddy CHUCK DAVIES” will hit the stage in the Grand Exhibit Hall of the Town & Country Convention Center at 12 noon. The music continues all day with local favorites “Hill Country” at 2:30pm and the always entertaining “Time Out – The Chargers Band” at 4:15pm. Each year, “Time Out” features surprise performances from talented Chargers players. In addition to donating blood, participants at Chargers Blood Drive 30 will also be able to join the National Marrow Donor Program registry free of charge. Blood donors will be awarded a commemorative Chargers Blood Drive 30 T-shirt, enjoy food, entertainment and have the chance to meet some of their favorite Bolts players. Attendants can also purchase entries to win a 2009 Honda CRV, donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, which will be given away at the event. Participants who do not plan to donate blood, but would still like to meet the Chargers and enjoy the festivities; will be charged a $5 entry fee ($1 for children under 17), which includes a commemorative Philip Rivers rubber wristband. Blood donors who do not wish to keep the wristband may be refunded the admission price after they donate.
