By participating in the Naked Juice 5k Walk/Run, you will help raise funds for the San Diego Blood Bank, while promoting camaraderie and team spirit.

Please review the following job description and select, in order, the top three jobs you are most interested in volunteering for, and list those choices on the spaces on the downloadable application.

Set-Up
5:30 am - 8:00 am (10 volunteers)
Set up Start line, Registration, Expo, Banners, etc.

Registration
7:00 am - 7:50 am (25 volunteers)
Register Participants

Volunteer Check-in/Info Booth
6:00 am - 9:00 am (6 volunteers)
Set up signs, direct vendors to booths, clean-up

T-Shirt/Goodie Bag Distribution
6:00 am - 11:00 am (6 volunteers)
Distribute t-shirts to participants

Split Timers/Course Marshalls
6:30 am - 10:00 am (14 volunteers)
Provide participants with time along route

Water Stations
6:30 am - 10:00 am (10 volunteers)
Set-Up, hand out water and clean up stations

Start Line Assistants
6:30 am - 10:30 am (5 volunteers)
Keep runners organized and back until race starts. Police area for dogs, strollers, bandits, etc.

Finish Line
7:00 am - 11:00 am (15 volunteers)
Assist timing company with recording or finishers, remove timing chips for runners, distribute medals, sort timing chips after race.

Awards
8:00 am - 11:00 am (4 volunteers)
Organize and distribute awards to winners.

Clean-Up/Breakdown
11:00 am - 1:00 pm (15 volunteers)
Clean up site and pack up leftover t-shirts and various supplies

Parking
5:30 am - 8:30 am (10 volunteers)
Direct participants to parking and start line.

After completing and mailing in your volunteer application, you will receive an email notice acknowledging our receipt of your form. (You will receive notification ONLY if the form is filled out completely.)

Two weeks prior to the event, you will receive an email notification/fax with your arrival time, parking locations, directions to the volunteer booth, time, date, and YOUR specific job.

In appreciation of your time, you will receive a commemorative Naked Juice 5k Walk/Run t-shirt, if you register by 07/01/08.
