 | | | Click here to check out your school's standings. How the High School Challenge Works - Throughout the year, your school's blood drive achievements will be posted and updated on the San Diego Blood Bank's web site. Students can track their school's standing in several categories.
- You will also be able to monitor other school's blood drive activities on-line to see how your achievements measure up.
- Each school's achievements will be tallied at the end of the school year. Winners will be announced on our web site, as well as in local newspapers and on radio and television stations.
- At the end of the school year, grants will be awarded in two categories:
- The school with the highest overall percentage of donors based on the school's population.
- The highest overall donations to date.
- Each winning school will be presented with a $2,000 grant and a "traveling" trophy. The school can use the grant money on any program it chooses and will keep the traveling trophy for as many years as it wins the Challenge.
