A Day of Music, Community & Giving Back
Everyone who donates blood at the event will receive a one-of-a-kind Bill Walton Memorial Blood Drive Tie-Dye T-Shirt* commemorating a San Diego legend.
And there’s even more happening throughout the day.
The first 150 donors will receive a pair of tickets to the inaugural National University Bill Walton Classic, taking place Saturday, November 7 at Pechanga Arena San Diego.
In the afternoon, Electric Waste Band, Bill’s longtime friends and musical collaborators, will perform live. Bill frequently joined the band onstage as a percussionist and sometimes singer, making their performance a fitting part of a day celebrating his larger-than-life spirit and legacy.
Community organizations will also join us throughout the day, making the blood drive a true community celebration of a San Diego legend.
*While sizes and supplies last. T-shirts have no market value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash. Blood donors must be 17+ years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health.
