Board Member
Ayad Hamdan, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplant at UC San Diego School of Medicine and serves as the Physician-in-Chief of Moores Cancer Center and cancer services at UC San Diego Health. His clinical and research interests include lymphomas, stem cell transplant, and CAR T cell therapy. His commitment to medical education and research is evidenced by his numerous scholarly publications. In his role as Physician-in-Chief, he oversees clinical operations, quality, and all oncology services, across the main center, affiliates, and outreach clinics. Dr. Hamdan joined the Board in 2024.
