Southern California hospital patients need the community to step up to the plate! Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. As a primary blood provider to more than 40 hospitals in our region and provider to hundreds more, including our commitment to BERC and the LA-DROP pilot program, every single donation makes a difference to someone in our community.
Will you be there for a family in need, a friend battling leukemia, a NICU baby—for someone’s someone in SoCal?
Donate blood June 1-30 at any of our locations and score a limited-edition T-shirt*!
Donors in San Diego County will get a limited-edition Padres Summer Blood Drive T-shirt*.
Donors in Orange County and Los Angeles County will get a limited-edition Summer Blood Donor T-shirt*.
Currently, all blood types are needed, but Type O+, O- donors are urgently requested to meet hospital demand. A+ platelet donors are also needed.
To donate blood you must be at least 17 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in general good health.
