All the fun is happening in Gallagher Square in Petco Park on May 22, 2025.
This blood drive is open to the public for fans and donors to come together to help the community prepare for the summer months when the blood supply tends to take a dip.
All presenting blood donors will receive exclusive Padres giveaways, access to a pair of game tickets to a Padres home game (June 25 or July 30), and a limited-edition Padres Summer Blood Drive T-shirt*, while supplies last.

Eligible blood donors are encouraged to book an appointment or call (619) 400-8251. Walk-ins are welcome. To donate blood, you must be 17 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in general good health. View FAQs
How can I prepare for this blood drive?
Eat a full meal and arrive hydrated with your photo ID. Allow about 1 hour to donate whole blood, and about 1.5 hours to donate double reds. Donor parking is available first-come, first-served, in the Lexus Premier Lot. Appointments are honored first, but there will be a bloodmobile reserved for walk-ins.
Can I bring my friends and family with me to the blood drive?
Yes! We love seeing families enjoying the Padres Blood Drive together and all are welcome to visit the blood drive. Children must be supervised at all times. Friends and family of blood donors may gather in the Waiting Area just outside of the Draw Area.
Please note: Children are not allowed in the Draw Area and cannot accompany parents to the blood donor health screening.
If you have small children accompanying you, we recommend planning ahead by pairing up with friends so you can take turns donating blood. Childcare is not available. Thank you for understanding.

The Blood Bank is dedicated to providing life-saving blood to hospitals across the region. Now in its 75th year, San Diego Blood Bank has collected more than 5.5 million pints of blood since 1950, supporting patients facing cancer, trauma, surgeries, and chronic illnesses.
For decades, San Diego Blood Bank has proudly partnered with the San Diego Padres hosting both Winter and Summer Blood Drives to help support the local blood supply—a tradition that has resulted in thousands of pints donated and lives saved. Last May, we achieved our most successful Padres Blood Drive yet, collecting more than 600 pints!
